Antique Mechanical Doorbell

Complete set up, with large bell and ringer. Both pieces are bronze, the bell cover was nickel plated. The bell is in excellent condition and designed well & made to last. The bell cover reads: Corbins Bell New Britain, and has developed a nice old patina from age. Not marked, but dates to around c.1875. The two mounting holes are hidden under the cover. The "T" styled lever type ringer also has retained it's original finish and is highly ornate & in fine condition.

Operation: By pulling down on the handle rings the bell, also rings again after returning back to original position. Guess it would be called a double ringer. The bell has a loud but very pleasant ring tone.
Bell measures: 4-5/8" in diameter.
Ringer: 5-5/8" x 2-5/8" at widest point.   $275
